The Unbalanced Vest by Harte Ordemn explores asymmetry and versatility through a slim-fitting silhouette cut in a linen and faux leather blend. Finished with raw-cut edges, the fabric is left to fray naturally, enhancing the garment’s deconstructed identity.

The front closure combines two buttonholes with four buttons, allowing the wearer to adjust the fit and shape of the vest. Hooks provide an additional fastening option, reinforcing its modular construction. The collar extends this adaptability, offering three styling modes—fully open, partially open, or completely closed. When fastened at the left shoulder with the additional button, the piece locks into a more rigid, architectural form.

Decorative button placements across the right panel disrupt uniformity, echoing Harte Ordemn’s experimental approach where detail functions as both ornament and disruption.
